(January 22, 2002) A set of several black supremacy groups, the Black Hebrew Israelites include "The Stream," "Original African Hebrew Israelite Nation of Jerusalem," "Nation of Yahweh (Yahweh Ben Yahweh)," "New York Yahweh," etc. The Black Hebrews are not recognized as Jews by Israel's rabbinate, and they shouldn't be, because they are CHRISTIANS.

This cult was founded by a former Baptist from Chicago named Ben Ami, aka Ben Israel or Ben Carter, whose real name is Gerson Parker, a 62-year-old former felon and metallurgist as well as self-appointed savior.

The Black Hebrews believe (because they follow a cult leader) they are descended from Israelites who were expelled from Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 CE and that they then migrated for more than 1,000 years before reaching West Africa and later the United States as slaves. That belief sprang from a vision that Ben Ammi (Ben Carter) says he had in 1966 when he was a Chicago foundry worker named. In the dream, archangel Gabriel told him that many African Americans were descendants of the lost Israeli tribe of Judah. Carter's "epiphany" led him to gather 30 followers in 1967 and move to Liberia -- a country founded by freed American slaves in 1847 -- for a two-year "cleansing period" on the way to the Promised Land. Upon arrival, Israeli authorities directed the newcomers to the remote desert town of Dimona while their claims of Jewish heritage were assessed. What a mistake! They camped out and reproduced like animals. Then, this cult of felons began a campaign to sweet talk the government of Israel into giving them citizenship. Sadly, the secular anti-Jewish government gave these Black Nazis citizenship in 2002.

Prior to their trip, the Browns met in Las Vegas with Rami Levi, Tourism Ambassador of Israel to North and South America, to coordinate elements both of the visit,in Jerusalem, Brown met with Israel's Tourism Minister, Rabbi Binyamin Elon. It is sad Israeli leaders supported these two savages, who then insulted the Prime Minister, and then said Israel is a black country, it is theirs.

In 1986, a group of Black Hebrews -- led by Carter's American disciple Warren Brown, aka Prince Asiel ("angel of healing") -- was found guilty by a federal jury in Washington, D.C., of operating an international crime ring that trafficked in millions of dollars worth of stolen airline tickets and used bogus credit cards and worthless checks to purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

In 1990, a U.S. affiliated offshoot sect of Black Hebrews in Miami -- led by Yahweh Ben Yahweh, aka Hulon Mitchell Jr. -- was indicted for conspiring to commit murder and racketeering. Prosecutors said Yahweh directed followers to commit 14 murders, two attempted murders and the firebombing of a Delray Beach neighborhood. Several of the victims were decapitated with a machete and others had their ears cut off as proof of the slayings. Yahweh allegedly molested prepubescent girls as young as 10, including his own relatives; led "midwife classes" for young women that were sometimes conducted entirely in the nude; slept with a series of women associated with his Miami temple even as he made their spouses promise chastity; and performed acts on the men including gruesome amateur circumcisions.

In NYC, the Black Hebrews, dressed in brightly colored "Biblical" costumes and with a most aggressive attitude, stand on the street or in the busy subway stations shouting "Jews are imposters" and that they (Black Hebrews) are the real Jews. They are known for a reputation of violence.
